Fire alarm upgrade
We upgrade fire alarm systems that still work but no longer meet current code — obsolete panels, discontinued devices, or coverage that no longer matches the building. Where the existing wiring and devices are sound, we keep them and replace only what has to change.
What the visit covers
- Control panel replacement on existing wiring
- Adding devices to close coverage gaps
- Replacing discontinued or unsupported equipment
- Voice evacuation and mass notification upgrades
- Bringing the system up to current NFPA 72
- Updated as-built drawings and records
Why it matters
Keep what works
Existing devices and circuits are reused where they are sound, so you pay for the upgrade, not a rebuild.
Phased around your hours
Work is sequenced so the building stays protected and open while the upgrade is under way.
No surprises at inspection
The upgraded system is tested and documented against the current code before we hand it back.
An upgrade costs a fraction of a full replacement and removes the violations that come with an obsolete system — the usual findings are code changes, discontinued parts and coverage gaps.
